You can use OpenAssistant directly from your phone through Text (SMS) or WhatsApp. To get started, you’ll need to connect and verify your phone number.
How to Connect Your Phone Number
Go to your OpenAssistant dashboard
Go to Connections in your Settings
Verify your number
A pop-up will appear asking you to enter your phone number.
OpenAssistant will text you a verification code.
Enter the code in the pop-up to confirm.
Note: Not all countries are supported. If you do not see your country in the drop down list of country codes to add your phone number, we do not support verification for that number.
You’re all set!
Once verified, you’ll receive a confirmation message.
OpenAssistant's phone number will be shown in your dashboard.
Final Step: Save OpenAssistant in Your Contacts
Add OpenAssistant's number to your phone as a contact (e.g., “OpenAssistant Assistant”). This makes it easy to text or WhatsApp OpenAssistant anytime, just like messaging a friend.
