You can text your assistant directly from your phone via text message (SMS) or WhatsApp. To get started, you'll need to connect and verify your phone number.
How to Connect Your Phone Number
Go to your OpenAssistnat dashboard
Go to Connections in your Settings
Click Phone Numbers in Identity & Defaults
Verify your number
Enter your phone number.
We will text you a verification code.
Enter the code in the pop-up to confirm.
Note: Not all countries are currently supported. If you do not see your country in the drop down list of country codes to add your phone number, reach out to us for more information at [email protected].
Once verified, you'll receive a confirmation message.
Find Your Assistants Phone Number and Save It in Your Contacts
If you're using a system assistant, you can find their phone number in the assistant profile.
If you're using a custom assistant, you'll need to request a phone line via the custom assistant profile. We'll reach out to you with next steps.
What's Next?
After setup, you can start messaging your assistant right away:
Text “What's on my schedule tomorrow?”
WhatsApp “Schedule a call with Priya next week.”
Or send any other request as if you were DM'ing your assistant.
